Anhui Ankai Automobile Co.Ltd. is a listed company specializing in the production of various high-end, mid-to-high-end, large, medium and light buses, special-purpose vehicles, and auto parts. With over 2,200 employees, it boasts an annual production capacity of 20,000 buses and special-purpose vehicles, as well as 6,000 sets of new energy motors. Founded in 1966, the company was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in July 1997. Currently, it has 2 complete bus production bases and 1 auto parts production base, and is recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise, a National Innovative Pilot Enterprise, and a National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise. The company is equipped with a National Enterprise Technology Center, a National Engineering and Technology Research Center for Electric Bus Vehicle System Integration, a National-Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Electric Bus Vehicle System Development and Application, a National Postdoctoral Research Station, and a nationally accredited vehicle performance laboratory. In 2011, the "Ankai Automobile" trademark was recognized as a "China Famous Trademark".

Ankai's product portfolio covers multiple power platforms including traditional power, pure electric, hydrogen fuel cell, CNG/LNG, and hybrid power, with vehicle lengths ranging from 5.4 meters to 18 meters. Its products serve various market segments such as passenger transport, tourism, corporate fleets, public transportation, school buses, and double-decker sightseeing buses, featuring simultaneous development of large and medium buses as well as coordinated advancement of high-end and mid-to-high-end buses. The special-purpose vehicle range includes box-type transport vehicles, recreational vehicles (RVs), medical vehicles, ambulances, refrigerated trucks, and inspection vehicles. Ankai adopts two technical routes: integral body structure and semi-integral body structure. The integral body structure, mainly applied to large buses and new energy buses, utilizes 16Mn rectangular steel tubes for the body frame, achieving a body strength 3-6 times that of conventional buses and a weight reduction of approximately 8% compared to peer models, thus offering superior safety, lighter weight, and better fuel economy. The semi-integral body structure is primarily used for medium and light buses; leveraging the technical advantages of JAC Motors' professional chassis, these buses are widely praised by customers for their excellent economy and comfort. In 2024, Ankai Automobile won four awards at the National New Energy Commercial Vehicle Performance Evaluation Competition, topping the medal tally among participating enterprises and fully demonstrating the strong strength of its new energy buses.

Adhering to the core values of "Customer-Oriented Operation, Quality-First Principle, and Pragmatic Spirit", the company is committed to manufacturing the finest Chinese buses, becoming a world-class bus brand, and striving to provide customers with better products and services. It has established sales and service networks across major regions in China, with key customers and strategic partners nationwide. Ankai buses have been exported to nearly 100 countries and regions including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Russia, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, New Zealand, Singapore, and South Africa, forming a global sales network and obtaining multiple world-class product certifications. In 2025, Ankai's overseas business achieved new milestones; by actively focusing on technological innovation, its international "circle of friends" continues to expand.
