The Unveiling Ceremony and Overseas Investment Promotion & Exchange Event of Cámara de Comercio de Anhui México (Anhui-Mexico Chamber of Commerce) Was Successfully Held
On the morning of August 9, 2025, the Unveiling Ceremony of the Cámara de Comercio de Anhui México and the Overseas Investment Promotion & Exchange Conference for Enterprises was held in Hefei. Guided by the Overseas Chinese Federation of Anhui Province, Anhui Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Foreign Affairs Office of Anhui Provincial People's Government, and Department of Commerce of Anhui Province, the event was attended by more than 100 participants, including representatives from local governments such as Baohe District of Hefei City, Daguan District of Anqing City, Susong County, Tongcheng City, and Yuexi County, as well as domestic and foreign financial institutions, associations, and technology innovation enterprises. It has built a cooperation bridge for Anhui enterprises to explore the Mexican and Latin American markets.
Chen Qi, Vice Chairman of the Overseas Chinese Federation of Anhui Province, stated that the establishment of the Cámara de Comercio de Anhui México carries the expectations of all sectors in Anhui and Mexico as well as overseas Chinese from Anhui. He hoped that the chamber would uphold its founding purpose, build a harmonious overseas Chinese community, unite and gather Anhui compatriots in Mexico, and achieve grouped development in resonance with local development in Mexico. It should actively give play to its unique advantage of connecting China and foreign countries, serve as a bridge through overseas Chinese, strive to be a promoter of friendly exchanges between China and Mexico and pragmatic cooperation between Anhui and Mexico, a disseminator of Chinese culture and Hui culture, a striver for Anhui's high-quality opening-up and development, and a driver for Anhui enterprises to expand into Mexico.
The representative of the Consul General of Mexico in Shanghai started with the profound friendship between China and Mexico since the establishment of diplomatic relations, and systematically analyzed Mexico's geographical advantage as a hub of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). He particularly pointed out that Anhui's industrial advantages in manufacturing, new energy and other fields are highly compatible with Mexico's market demand, and sincerely invited Anhui enterprises to take Mexico as a fulcrum to deepen their presence in the promising Latin American market.
The overseas congratulatory speech session was carried out via video link, where organizational leaders and business partners from Mexico and other countries sent blessings remotely. Their remarks not only expressed eager expectations for the establishment of the chamber but also conveyed the urgent demand of the local market for Anhui's high-quality products and technologies, making the participants deeply feel the sincerity of cross-ocean cooperation.
Huang Mingxi, Executive Vice President of the Cámara de Comercio de Anhui México, systematically introduced the operational foundation of the chamber. He mentioned that the investment areas of member units cover multiple sectors such as bulk trade, new energy vehicles, photovoltaic energy storage, and cross-border e-commerce. Currently, the Pufei Overseas Mexico Branch has been established to provide full-chain services for enterprises going global, including policy interpretation, compliance guidance, and supply-demand matching, practicing the concept of "caring for one's hometown and repaying it" with practical actions.
Xu Liang, District Mayor of Daguan District of Anqing City, delivered a speech as a representative of local governments. Combining the practice of enterprises in his district going global, he emphasized that the government will take the establishment of the chamber as an opportunity to introduce more precise support policies, encouraging more local enterprises to achieve a in-depth leap from product export to brand localization with the help of the chamber's platform.
Liu Zhizhong, President of the chamber, detailed the relevant situation of the chamber and delivered a thank-you speech. He said that the chamber will inherit the "camel spirit", uphold integrity as the foundation, and carry forward the new Anhui entrepreneurial spirit of "daring to be the first and being pragmatic and innovative". It will adhere to win-win cooperation, help hometown enterprises "go to Mexico in groups" and attract foreign investment "to enter Anhui in groups"; it will adhere to repaying society and promote exchanges and cultural mutual learning between young people of the two countries.
At the same time, the event featured an overseas investment promotion signing and exchange session. Representatives from enterprises, overseas associations, and financial institutions delivered speeches one after another. Enterprises and institutions such as Yuansen Group and the China-Spain Cultural Exchange Association joined hands with the chamber to build an overseas support network; representatives from Hefei Branch of Bank of Hangzhou shared customized cross-border financial services, verifying the effectiveness of financial empowerment with practical cases.
Finally, Zhang Yuanyuan, Founder and CEO of Pufei Overseas, on behalf of the Mexico Branch, detailed Mexico's business environment, the advantages of enterprises going global, cooperation visions, and market conditions, and conducted interactive exchanges, providing practical information for Anhui enterprises to expand overseas.
The establishment of the Cámara de Comercio de Anhui México marks a new stage in the exchange and cooperation between Anhui and Mexico. In the future, the chamber will deepen economic, trade and cultural exchanges between China and Mexico, help more Anhui enterprises enter the Latin American market through Mexico, inject new momentum into Anhui's opening-up, and write a new chapter for Anhui enterprises going global.
