Businesses Deepen Their Focus on New Directions for Going Global in the Green Chemical Industry
On October 23, 2025, Huang Mingxi, Executive Vice President, and Zhao Wen, Secretary-General, led a delegation to Anhui Jinneng Zhongneng Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhongneng Chemical") for in-depth exchanges on the layout of the coal chemical industry chain, innovation in green production technologies, and cooperation and complementarity of resources at home and abroad. The aim was to build cooperation bridges and expand the global presence of green chemicals.
Li Chengwei, Deputy General Manager of Zhongneng Chemical, extended a warm welcome to the chamber's delegation. During the forum, he detailed the enterprise's core business: based on coal chemical industry, it has built a diversified industrial synergy ecosystem of "chemical fertilizers + chemical industry + comprehensive supporting facilities", covering traditional and new-type fertilizer production, supply of basic chemical raw materials, and extension of high-end new materials. He emphasized the enterprise's breakthroughs in green technologies: relying on the industry-leading full-chain process, it has achieved efficient coal conversion and ultra-low emissions, with technical capabilities ranking among the leading domestic and advanced international levels. The enterprise also holds a number of authoritative certifications, has a professional technology center, and its compliance capabilities are widely recognized in the industry. In terms of market layout, Zhongneng Chemical has achieved remarkable results in Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern markets in recent years, and is currently focusing on Latin American and North American regions to accelerate localized cooperation.
Subsequently, the delegation conducted an on-site visit to the enterprise's production workshops, R&D centers, and combined heat and power (CHP) system, gaining an in-depth understanding of its full production process, application of green technologies, and circular economy development model.
Huang Mingxi stated that as a core economy in Latin America, Mexico maintains close exchanges with Anhui in chemical and energy fields. Its booming demand in agriculture and manufacturing, coupled with an obvious supply gap in green technologies, is highly compatible with Zhongneng Chemical's core advantages. He also mentioned that President Liu Zhizhong is currently conducting interactive visits and layout planning with Mexican government departments and enterprises based on the previous research results of various enterprises. Based on this, he suggested promoting the "green chemical products + localized services" cooperation model: on the one hand, accurately matching local demand with high-quality products; on the other hand, assisting in building a localized production system to further tap the potential of multi-field cooperation.
Both parties reached consensus on three key directions: overseas market research, customized product development, and in-depth local cooperation, and established a regular collaboration mechanism. They will jointly explore a new "green chemical industry + international cooperation" model for going global, supporting high-quality Anhui chemical enterprises to expand into the global market.
