Since 2011, he has served as a Professor-Researcher at Tecnológico Nacional de México. He has been awarded the PRODEP “Perfil Deseable” (Desirable Profile) recognition and is a member of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadoras e Investigadores (National System of Researchers).
He currently serves as Leader of the Academic Team in Intelligent Perception Computing and Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Information Technology at the Tijuana Campus of Tecnológico Nacional de México.
He has published over 30 scientific papers, 3 books, and 17 book chapters, with 11 intellectual property achievements. He has taught more than 115 courses and supervised over 30 graduation theses.
He has acted as Technical Lead for projects funded by CONACYT-Ministry of Economy (FINNOVA Program), promoting numerous technological innovation projects in applied neuroscience, computational intelligence, and intelligent systems.
He has conducted academic and research visits both domestically and internationally, and received specialized training in advanced telecommunications technologies and emerging technology applications.
He possesses extensive experience in institutional strategic planning, academic management, international development, and industry-university-research collaboration.
He is formally appointed as Senior Advisor of the Cámara de Comercio de Anhui México, dedicated to promoting cultural and educational exchanges between China and Mexico.
